Role Purpose

To ensure that the geotechnical engineering at the Coffee Gold Project is completed to the highest standards including designed, constructed, operated safely and reliably, meeting all production targets. This role is a member of the Technical Services Team, reports to the Engineering Manager.

Role Accountabilities

• Lead geotechnical aspects of the project such as solution ponds, embankments, and associated earthworks.
• Develop and review design criteria, geotechnical models, stability analyses, deformation assessments, seepage analyses, and thermal modelling to support cold-climate facility performance.
• Apply sound engineering judgment to cold-climate geotechnical challenges, including frozen ground behavior, seasonal variability, and long-term thermal performance.
• Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with construction and operational realities.
• Provide geotechnical input to FS, detailed engineering, and optimization studies.
• Review and support Quality Management (QM) programs, earthworks specications, and liner system installation procedures.
• Participate in site inspections, review eld and laboratory testing results, and resolve non-conformances.
• Develop and oversee geotechnical monitoring programs (e.g., piezometers, inclinometers, settlement monuments).
• Support the development and implementation of facility governance frameworks and OMS / OMS Manuals aligned with Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) Protocols.
• Support compliance with applicable legislation and guidance, including the Canadian Dam Act.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions, technical reports, and engagement with regulators and independent reviewers.

 Qualications

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) eligible in Yukon
• Master’s degree preferred

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering experience with demonstrated experience in heap leach facilities.
• Experience with cold-climate geotechnical engineering, remote mine sites, Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) Protocols, and the Canadian Dam Act is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience translating complex information for different audiences
• Prociency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Role Purpose

Support exploration, construction, and operations to achieve company’s safety objectives, and adhere to corporate policies approved by the Board of Directors (BOD).  This role is a member of the Site Leadership Team, reports to the VP, Coffee.

Role Accountabilities

·       Provide visible leadership to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

·       Participate with senior leadership in establishing and demonstrating Fuerte’s vision, values, and commitment to responsible development.

·       Develop, implement, and maintain Fuerte’s Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) aligned with Yukon legislation, federal requirements, and recognized industry standards.

·       Review and approve Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Safe Work Procedures (SWPs), and contractor safety plans.

·       Develop and oversee health and safety training programs, including site inductions and leadership training.

Purpose of the Role

The position plays a key role in ensuring exploration data is collected accurately and consistently to support technical decision-making.

Accountabilities

• Execute drill core and chip logging to Company standards, including lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structure
• Support drilling operations through collar staking, drill pad inspections, rig line-ups, downhole surveys, and drill site supervision
• Ensure accurate sample handling, labelling, and tracking
• Maintain detailed geological records, logs, and databases
• Assist with daily, weekly, and program summary reporting
• Conduct fieldwork in compliance with Company health, safety, and environmental standards
• Participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, and daily planning activities
• Identify and escalate safety, data quality, or operational issues as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.Sc. in Geology or Earth Sciences, or current enrollment in a related degree program
• 1–5 years of mineral exploration experience, preferably in Canada
• Eligibility for, or registration as, a Geoscientist in Training (G.I.T.)
• Experience working in remote or northern environments preferred
• Familiarity with gold exploration and drilling programs considered an asset
• Willingness to work rotational schedules at site

To lead the development and execution of the Project’s First Nation and community engagement strategy, ensuring all engagement activities, relationships, and commitments are effectively delivered in support of the Project’s construction and operation phases.

Accountabilities

• Oversee the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the Community and Indigenous Relations Plan.
• Lead engagement and commercial negotiations with First Nations partners and communities.
• Design and execute communications campaigns, in collaboration with the Sustainability and External Relations Team, to build local support for the project.
• Manage and attend community events (some weekends required) and identify strategic sponsorship opportunities.
• Represent the company with governments, community groups, and interest organizations and ensure accurate, timely information sharing.
• Organize tours, respond to community investment requests, public relations activities, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with legal and financial specialists on partnership agreements and other material commercial agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all community and Indigenous-related commitments, agreements, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategies and report regularly.
• Oversee documentation of all community engagement activities and initiatives and prepare reports.
• Support regulatory processes, including permitting and public consultation processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Indigenous Relations, community engagement, environmental or social performance, or a related field.

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Accountabilities

• Accountable for Environmental Management System governance and site environmental compliance, including alignment with corporate standards, regulatory requirements and environmental performance objectives.
• Accountable for regulatory reporting oversight and compliance risk management, including review and approval of permit-required submissions and engagement with regulators, inspections, and audits.
• Accountable for environmental program planning and performance, including program design, resourcing, budgets, contractor scope direction, and integration of environmental risks into site planning and construction activities.
• Accountable for technical oversight and approval of environmental monitoring programs.
• Accountable for leadership and governance of the Environmental Department.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive environmental experience in the mining industry, including either at least 3 years as an Environmental Manager or at least 8 years as an Environmental Superintendent.
• Understanding and demonstrated experience in the application of mining and environmental legislation in Canada with a preference for candidates with experience Yukon Territory.
• Strong team leader with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Highly organized, with the ability to thrive in a complex setting and prioritize competing demands and deadlines.
• Experience working in remote, northern environments. 5-10 years’ experience as an environmental manager in the mining or natural resources sector.

Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Environmental Superintendent, the purpose of the Environmental Technician is supporting environmental monitoring programs through accurate, safe field data collection with complete, timely data entry in accordance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Environmental Monitoring & Field Execution:

·       Collect field data and samples as part of environmental monitoring programs (e.g., water quality sampling, groundwater monitoring, bird surveys, wildlife observations, vegetation or invasive plant surveys)

·       Complete chain of custody documentation and prepare, package, and ship samples to laboratories
Enter field data accurately and in a timely manner, including preliminary quality checks for completeness, legibility, and adherence to procedures

·       Calibrate, install, maintain, and prepare field sampling and monitoring equipment to ensure readiness for scheduled programs

·       Carry out field activities in accordance with environmental management plans, including inspecting controls (e.g., erosion and sediment controls, spill containment, wildlife deterrents) and reporting any issues or deficiencies

·       Maintain organized environmental records and field notes, including logs, photos, GPS data, and transfer of information to the Environmental Superintendent

·       Support field logistics, including equipment staging and preparation of sampling equipment and kits

2. Compliance & Environmental Management System:

·       Conduct field inspections to support permit compliance and EMS requirements, identifying, documenting, and communicating deficiencies

·       Support development and implementation of inspection programs and field checklists based on permit and management plan requirements

·       Support development and updates of standard operating procedures (SOPs) by providing field input and practical feedback

·       Support incident and spill prevention and response, including field response activities (e.g., deploying spill kits, containing releases), documentation (photos, field notes), and completion of required forms

·       Deliver field-level training and awareness to site staff on environmental practices (e.g., spill prevention, wildlife interactions, waste management)

·       Compile and organize field data and supporting information (e.g., inspection records, photos, GPS data) to support compliance reporting and internal summaries

·       Research and compile environmental information as requested by the Environmental Superintendent

Qualifications:

• Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in environmental monitoring or science, biology, or related field from an accredited college or university
• 1-4 years experience in an environmental monitoring discipline.
• Experience working outdoors in northern or remote environments, with the ability to work independently in inclement weather and safely navigate uneven, sloped, rocky, wet, or icy terrain.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

Skills and Experience:

• Valid First Aid certificate is an asset.
• Professional accreditation an asset (AB Tech, RB Tech, RP Bio, P. Bio, P.Ag, P.Geo, EIT)
• Adhere to safety and sustainability policies and procedures.
• Promote environmental awareness and best practices among site personnel.

Work Location & Conditions:

·       Location: Yukon Territories, Canada

·       Remote-based role with preference for Yukon-based candidates; periodic travel to the Yukon and Vancouver required.

·       Rotation: Two-week on / 2-week off rotation at the Coffee Gold Project.

·       Physical requirements: Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Expected Compensation: $30- $45 CAD per hour
